Meet The Go Getta

Adriana “ADRI.V” Viverette-Gamble also known as “The Go Getta” started as the youngest intern at WBLK 93.7 FM.  “The Go Getta” slogan has not only served as a motto for her life, but it has also become her PLAN FOR ACTION! At an early age ADRI.V realized that one must ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK for what they want and believe in. With this plan in pursuit she began to grace the radio airways for the very same station that she once interned for at Townsquare Media in Buffalo New York.

ADRI.V was always known as the talkative little girl, with the gift of gab. It was as if she was born to be on the radio. Her love for music and entertainment came naturally at an early age, leading her to understand the realization that she NEEDED a career that involved both endeavors.

ADRI.V obtained a Master in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Medaille College and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a Minor in Media Studies and two certifications in Public Relations, Advertising and Journalism from the University at Buffalo. ADRI.V took full advantage of gaining all experience necessary while in college by interning at her local radio and television station WBLK 93.7 FM, WKBW News 7, Black Entertainment Television (BET) and Cable News Network (CNN).

She is the originator of “The Go Getta Mix” where she features non-radio DJ’s from Western New York, Southern Ontario and surrounding cities on 93.7 WBLK every Friday from 10PM-2AM. The Go Getta Mix popularity has grown and now has been syndicated to Albany, NY radio station at 99.1.WQHS. ADRI.V also a weekend personality in Rochester, NY every Saturday 8PM-12AM on 103.9 WDKX where she hosts the weekly show “Da Joint” along side the Supa Cru DJs.

ADRI.V has worked with and interviewed many celebrities ranging from well known R&B and Hip Hop artists to athletes. She has also hosted countless events including for the Mayor of Buffalo, New York State Senator and New York State Assembly.

With a love for motivating and empowering youth, she has become the “Voice of the Youth” becoming a motivational speaker carrying the message of pursuing higher education and the importance of being a “Go Getta.”

Through her own philanthropic efforts and understanding the need to give back, ADRI.V founded The Go Getta scholarship and created the “I Am A Go Getta” Initiative, Enrichment and Mentoring Program, which focuses on motivating and encouraging youth and young adults to dream big, strive for excellence and never give up hope on their dreams.
